Methods of Use For Hair Growth

Disclaimer: Use these methods at your own risk.

Less is more. Apply a small amount of oil to your scalp and hair. Small enough for you to run your fingers through your hair and not having excessively oily fingers. Massage the oil into your scalp using your finger tips, don’t scratch your scalp unnecessarily. Practice this at least once a week.

There are two methods:

Method 1:

Pour a desired amount of oil into a small glass or plastic bowl or cup. Put the bowl in a bigger bowl with hot water and let the oil warm up. Check the temperature constantly to ensure that it is not hot but warm.

Massage a generous amount of Black Castor Oil into your scalp and hair then cover your hair with a plastic shower cap or wrap a plastic bag around your hair.

Keep the bag on for 30-45 minutes.

Method 2:

Apply and massage in a generous amount of Black Castor Oil into your scalp and hair then cover with a plastic cap and go under the dryer for 15-30 minutes.

After having the oil in:

Remove the excess unused oil by washing your hair with a natural shampoo and conditioner or DIY African Black Soap Shampoo or the soap itself which you can buy here.

Practice this once a week.

Start by washing your face with a mild soap such as African Black Soap to remove excess oils, dirt and makeup from your eyebrows and eyelashes. Use warm water (not HOT!!) to help the pores open up more to deep cleanse the skin.

Dip a mascara wand or a cotton swab into the Black Castor Oil, tapping off or squeezing out any excess oil.

Because of the consistency of this oil and how delicate the eyes are, ensure that you apply a thin layer of oil. Have a clean tissue on hand to dab and dry any drips from the wand or swab you’re using if necessary.

Coat your eyelashes evenly like you would with mascara from the root to the tip.

It is much easier to apply the oil on the eyebrows, you can brush it through from inner to outer tip or apply it using your finger and gently massage it in by running your finger back and forth on your eyebrow.

Leave the oil on overnight and rinse off with a mild soap like African Black Soap in the morning before you apply your moisturizer and makeup.

Methods of Use For Skincare

Boil water in a large pot over the stove, you can cut this process short by pouring kettle boiled water in the pot to further boil.

Once the water is rapidly boiling (You can see bubbles in the water), carefully remove it from the stove and place it safely on a sturdy counter.

Cover your head and face with a towel over the pot and allow the steam of the hot water to cover your face. Don’t lean into the pot, just ensure that your towel is big enough to cover your head, face and the pot so that the steam doesn’t escape. This will open the pores in your face and will make the oil more effective when applied.

Once the steaming has been completed, roughly after 5-10 minutes of steaming, rub your face with a clean washcloth to remove any extra dirt that is on the surface of your skin.

Put a small amount of oil on an unused part of the facecloth. Rub oil all over your face using circular motions gently, applying a little extra to problem areas. Don’t drench your skin with oil.

Let the oil sit for a few minutes (10-15 minutes) so that it can be absorbed into the skin.

After the time has elapsed, wash your face with warm water, making sure to remove all the oil.

Splash your face with cool or cold water to close pores (this is important for the next step of this treatment), then pat dry.

Apply more of the black castor oil to your face, again using a little extra oil on problem areas and let it sit overnight.

In the morning, wash your face with a moisturizing soap such as African Black Soap and apply a small amount of Shea Butter to prevent the drying of skin.
